Kidzcare ltd is a well established child care organisation which runs a wide variety of childcare facilities in Edinburgh and the Borders for 3 months onwards mainstream children and  also for children who have individual needs.  We are all about fun and relaxation. KIDZCARE ACHIEVE ‘INVESTORS IN PEOPLE’ RECOGNITION

We are delighted to announce that Kidzcare, after a rigorous and lengthy period of examination, has been officially recognised as an Investors in People organisation.

Kidzcare gained accreditation for their “sustained effort and commitment to the development of its employees”, and were lauded for their determination to fulfil the potential of those associated the company.

Directors Anne Marie Dunn and Fraser Quin would particularly like to thank all nursery and after school staff for their continued hard work, and contribution to this achievement.

New services at Craigmillar

Kidzcare are delighted to announce that we are opening two new childcare services in Craigmillar. We will be opening an after school club in Castle View Primary school and a nursery in the Hays business centre. The projects will operate in partnership with Edinburgh City Council, Children and Families Department, and both projects are funded through Fairer Scotland.
This is a very exciting project for Kidzcare, particularly as we are working in close partnership with Children and Families. Both facilities are in the Craigmillar area which was formerly funded as a Social Inclusion Partnership project as Craigmillar Childcare Project.
Recruitment will take place within the Craigmillar area as an aim of the projects is to encourage individuals wishing to return to work and undertake CPD to apply. Naturally posts are open to the wider Edinburgh workforce.
Both centres are in the process of being registered with the Care Commission and we anticipate an opening date of late October, early November.

Scottish Qualification Authority

We are happy to announce that Kidzcare is now registered with Scottish Qualification Authority. This allows us to train our staff on SVQ level and at the moment we are just putting the finishing touches to the course materials and we hope to have first trainees starting with us at the beginning of next year.
