Have you heard about the Kidzcare Breakfast Club?

Ideal for parents who require childcare before schools start, we are open Monday-Friday, from 7.45am, at Viewforth Parish Church on Gilmore Place, at St. Peter's Primary School and also at Wilton Primary School in Hawick.

We provide a healthy breakfast in a warm and safe environment, before escorting your child to school. All Primary 1 & 2 children are supervised until they have entered their school building and care has been handed over to school staff.

In our breakfast clubs we make sure the children spend the short time they have with us in the mornings as productively and enjoyably as possible. Often this involves ongoing activities that can take a number of days to complete.

Would your child enjoy our weekly International Breakfast? Sample a new country’s breakfast each week (like the sound of Mexican Banana Tortillas, French croissants, or Mango Smoothies?) and learn a little about each country as well! In addition to our normal selection of fruit, we have Exotic Fruit Day where by the children can sample tastes such as lychee or papaya! We will also provide ways to learn about healthy eating in our nutrition project, and relate this to the breakfast foods the children eat. We have other regular activities such as puzzles and quizzes, arts and crafts, movie mornings, and a whole range of games to suit all ages and tastes.
